// INTERVIEW with Angelique Piliere, Founder

Jour Blanc scarves are printed in a ‘living heritage’ site

1.Where do you seek inspiration for your collections?

I find a lot of inspiration in nature with it’s beautiful textures & shapes, but also in music and art. I’m really interested in the approach towards graphics in different art movements, from the use of photographic collage in surrealism to the pattern works in constructivism.

2.Which one is your favourite piece from your collection and why?

Mineral Field. I really like the contrast between the natural texture of the minerals and the psychedelic colours.

3.What is the most rewarding thing as a designer?

The crystallisation of an idea into a design is a personal reward.

4.If you weren’t a designer, what would you be?

I would do a job that brings me closer to nature.

5.Your favourite moment of the day?

The morning, the whole day is in front of you, anything can happen!
